Ally Financial - Stole as much money as they could after my car was totaled
My car was totaled a year-and-a-half after I purchased it.The Ally customer service lady told me that they would apply the insurance check directly to the loan.
However after 2 months they were charging me monthly installments on my loan. They told me that they did not apply the money that way so I'm still responsible for over $10,000 difference and they wouldn't work with me so I had to pay $780 a month. Then they sent me a statement in the mail saying I didn't have to make a payment for a year. So then when I didn't make the first payment, I was sending them a smaller amount, I figured I would have that time to bring it down then they start charging me late fees.
They ruined my credit and charged me a high interest rate.They said I shouldn't have looked at that statement because it was wrong.
