Hands down the worst financial company/bank I have ever worked with. Never missed a payment, never late on our lease payment but are being penalized.
They do not help you, guide you, or listen.
Terrible company & customer service is junk. NEVER AGAIN!

Why is a company that is clearly predatory and obviously run by crooks STILL allowed to continue in business?? The CFPB has atleast 7,000+ complaints logged on their site for them.
This country has gone to *** in a hand basket.
Makes me want to move to... anywhere but here!

I've co tact ally over 15 different time , two of the calls they just hung up on me so they would rather hang up on you then help you. During the terms of the loan which I paid off well in advance, 3 perpetrate occasions of trying to take a second payment in a month after my autopay made the payment.
In addition, I was being charged a pay to pay fee. Have not recieved my title , I satisfied my obligation in October of 2023 and its now almost March of 2024!!
I paid my car off back in Oct of 2023, i still havent recieved my title. Ive contacted pdp group and thought i had gotten the issuee resolved and they said they were to expedite the title within 10 business days and this was on January 16, 2024.
Havent recieved it yet. Now im getting very upset and im about to inform the police and my attorney. I want my title as ive paid my obligation. Please comtact me with a resolution.

My overall opinion of this “bank” is that it sucks and is solely for customers who have poor credit history through no fault of their own!!!!!!
Cant get a resolution to a payment that ACI
Mis-applied. I have been working on this problem since 3/18 without any success.
Have been continuously bee transferred from one non clear English speaking agents. Have been UNABLE to speak to anyone that seems to have a clue as to what is going on OR very limited assistance

I have contacted Ally at least 45 times with no results.
At that time they said they would send it. Since i did not receive it, i made10 phone calls on February 20th. I am trying to get a copy of the 1099 ally sent me.
Here are the numbers I called.

I was put on hold for 20 minutes most calls. The reason I say calls is because after they answered I'd be put back on hold after giving information just to be hung up on.
I was given a division to call, wrong number. Four hours and I still don't know if they corrected my issue.
And all that I wanted was to validate my bank account. Oh, try listening to broken English being spoken with 100 people talking in the background.

Not satisfied with the response to help with payment complaint
I have signed up to have my car loan taken out automatically. The first payment came out fine, the second month two payments were taken out.
After talking to Ally about it they said to contact the bank and cancel one payment. The bank had to cancel both payments and they charged me for it. Customer service said that they could not resubmit it so I had to pay another way. By the time I paid over the phone, there was a charge for that and late fee.
Then I was told I was no longer eligible for automatic payment. The next month, I tried to make a payment online and was told I can only pay by certified check or money order now!! All I'm trying to do is make a payment.
I called customer service and wanting to talk to a regional manager to get some satisfaction and was told there was none ...what??? I really regret signing with this company and would tell anyone thinking of getting a loan from them DON'T!

I am attempting to pay off a car I ( foolishly) co signed for, several years ago.
The vehicle is out of state and I need this matter to be efficient and guarantee me the person delinquent on his monthly payments, does NOT have access to said vehicle after its paid off by me. The operators refuse to transfer me to a supervisor without me repeating the circumstances surrounding the car.
It would be to their benefit to merely pass me off to a supervisor. Instead, they place me back at square one as Im placed ( again ) on hold.
This is super frustrating and not very professional!

Preferred solution: To have one person to work WITH me, not against me to get this loan nightmare behind me!

I found it very difficult to talk to a person and when I finally got some one there accent made it very difficult to understand what they were saying and they didnt seem to understand what I was asking about my auto loan was recently paid off and I was asking about gap insurance refund they kept trying to send me to the bankruptcy department

I'm going through bankruptcy and my car was repossessed last night. I didn't get any papers stating it was getting repossessed and legally since I'm going through bankruptcy, no one can get that car
The most difficult company to work with.
Contacted them to make final payment to receive my tittle. Did as they instructed to receive it in 8-8 days!
It has now been 3 weeks and I just got off the phone with them and I was told it was just released yesterday so allow another 6-9 days to receive it! Second time I have used Ally and it is the last time.

When I could speak to someone after 12 minutes they hung up on me after trying to transfer me to home loans.
I tried again and it said they have no record of me! I have to talk with a person so I can change my monthly payment amount.
Preferred solution: A person to help me change my upcoming payment. I can’t get online either her.

I paid off my auto loan back in July and was sent the title and paperwork stating that my loan was paid off. My credit report is still showing that I owe money on this loan which is not possible and destroying my credit.
If this is not removed Im taking legal actions! Im not able to send proof of my title in this message but can through normal email.
Once you have the title the vehicle has been paid off! This should not be on my credit report affecting things
